SPORTS REPORT 19/20 MARCH
The week-end programme began with the U8 Netball and Football teams travelling to St.Hugh’s Prep School, Woodhall Spa.
The Year 3 girls, given terrific support by their parents, put in an exciting and most determined performance. In the first quarter the score remained at 0-0, although Witham had most of the possession. However, Annabel Tollemache led the way in the next two quarters with 5 fantastic goals in ten minutes! In the final quarter Poppy Chatterton and Sophia Ktori both scored giving Witham a 7-0 win. Superb marking and athletic interceptions from Felicity Bridges Webb, Catherine Swanston and Willow Weatherby started off many attacking moves down the court, and Hattie Grace was feisty and fast up and down the centre.
